sthenri | How do you respond to love? Are you cynical? Do you believe in hearts and flowers and what is your relationship like with your loved one, anyone involved with a Taurus or Cancer? And do you see two people at once...do you find people attracted to you who are selfish, masochistic, or self involved? Thanks, Natasha Taurus Cancer Moon Sun trine Uranus uranus conjunct pluto/10th |
26taurus | My mother has Uranus conj. Sun (and Merc) in Cancer in the 7th and she has a unique view on what she would like in a relationship. She would prefer to meet someone and have that person live next door. Each having their own full and seperate lives, but at the same time having a relationship. She's VERY independent and likes her freedom. Just how a Uranus conj. Sun person would be. But she would also - like just about everyone living - like to connect with her "soulmate", "twinflame", etc. But she could never live the Betty Crocker housewife kind of lifestyle. It's just not in her. Uranus influenced peeps are ahead of their time and love their indepedence. And like most Uranus 7th housers she's been divorced. That is almost a given when that planet is in the marriage house. -26 Uranus in Scorp conjunct MC |
virgotaurustaurus | I have Uranus in 7th! (It's also squared by my Venus, conjunct my mars, and opposite my moon...how's that for relationships haha). I seem to have a unique, sort of socially unacceptable view on relationships. The traditional marriage, living together stuff I just don't get and don't really want. I could go for living with my partner, but we each have our own separate lives and friendships as well. I cannot stand feeling smothered, and need a lot of space. The hearts and flowers stuff isn't too important to me but nice if it exists. I view it as an "extra". I'm cynical about those who always need to be in relationships, I just don't understand it. I usually run from Cancers. I have found that every Cancer guy eventually just latches right on and drains me by smothering. My last boyfriend was a Taurus...I really liked how we were both really driven, especially career-wise, and to encourage each other, but he wanted to cuddle way more than I did, and I found him to be too controlling. A lot of people I've had attracted to me have been one of those 3...either selfish, masochistic, or self-involved. Sometimes it's maddening and leaves me to wonder what I do to attract them! I feel like I'm just destined to live the single life forever, and that it may not even be a bad thing. |
26taurus | Also, I dont mean to imply that she only wants a relationship for sexual purposes. That isnt it at all. It's kind of hard to explain unless you understand these energies.....or experience the Uranian influence strongly in your own chart. |
26taurus | VTT, You summed it up perfectly and sound just like my mother. Especially this part: I feel like I'm just destined to live the single life forever, and that it may not even be a bad thing. She is really comfortable with the thought of being single for the rest of her life. But wouldnt mind meeting the right person. And ONLY if it is "the right person". Otherwise she doesnt want to waste her time. |
virgotaurustaurus | Whoa! 26T I just read what you wrote about your mother...wow!! Yup I wouldn't mind meeting the right person either, and they better be the right person!! If they aren't I usually don't have many second thoughts about saying goodbye. I wonder if the right person for a Uranus in 7th would be another Uranus in 7th...hmm! |
Everlong | I have Uranus in the 7th (and Saturn, and Neptune), but I've never had a relationship, so, don't think I can be of much help. |
26taurus | Wow VTT! Yeah, you know I'm wondering how much my Uranus square Mars in the 7th plays into this type of thing as well. Because I feel similarly about relationships. That could also be natal Saturn there though. I'm fine on my own and dont mind it one bit. But would like more than anything to connect with my "soulmate". But then I already have been with some of them. People change and what I want now will be very different 5 years down the road. People come in and out of our lives in perfect timing. I've thought I had found "the one" a couple of times. And they WERE "the one" for me at that time. I also dont have a problem saying goodbye to someone if I know it is not going to work out. Sometimes it's sad to see people go. But you are only opening up the door for a better relationship if you have learned everything you can from your past ones. Yes, I wonder if two 7th house Uranians would work well together?........ |
sthenri | Have anyone of you started a relationship with a Uranus in the first, or someone with a strong Uranus signature? Nat |
26taurus | I dont know if you meant me too, but just in case - yes, I have and it ended really sourly. He also had Pluto and Sun conj. ASC.....among other issues. |
Mystic Dreamz | Treat me like a princess, be faithful, loyal, and love me and treat me good! When I find out something bad about a guy or if i even find out they lied to me....they become another enemy on my list. I will treat them like the crap that they are. Sometimes I hold grudges

key | Natasha - Uranus in the first: quirky, but fun, and very creative, and/or brilliant That is how I would describe the person I know with uranus in 1st (in scorpio) KEY |
maya-v | Uranus in 3rd - what does it mean? |
astro junkie | The 3rd House is ruled by Mercury, and I find Uranian energy very "mercurial" - so it's almost like there's a TON of electricity there in that Uranus in the 3rd. What Sign is it in? ------------------ ... it's better to light a candle than curse the darkness |
